A Gadget Crazy World

Laziness is at an all time high in today's gadget crazy world. Thanks to technology, we hardly need to walk around, nor get off our bottoms, we can just sit there on that comfortable chair for hours, or lie down on the couch and still be part of things through our smart phones, the internet and our TV's remote control.

Our increasing dependency on gadgets and other modern technologies is making us lazier and lazier. Most human beings in the age group of 15 to 40 years are dependent on modern technology to a great extent. This dependency is causing them to get lazier by the day.

It's vital to have around 30 minutes of physical activity every day. Even a simple walk around the block or in a nearby park will do you a world of good. But these physical activities must be done every single day. No breaks.

Also, it would be wise to lie down for lesser hours during the day. Anything more than 3 hours of lying down on a couch or bed is not supposed to be good for you in the long run.

Laziness might shorten your life span by a few years. It's most important that you don't get so lazy that you are always found lying around the home doing nothing.

Truly said Sir. In my younger days, we used to grind the flour through grind for idli dosai paste. Grind our chutneys in the grind stone. It was like a way of exercise to us. The taste was also good. But after modernisation, for every little thing, we have a gadget. Grinder, Mixer, whipper, chopper. One way it is good for the fast moving world. But on the other way round, it has made us more lazier and unhealthy. I feel that after few decades, this will all go away and we may even go to the old culture of doing things on our own with our hands and brains instead of automation and gadgets.

Sir you have brought out a very valid point. Younger generation is hooked to the gadgets. I make sure that my daughter either go for running or for playing badminton. There has to be some sort of physical activity as our bodies are meant to move. Also during the day after lunch it is advisable to have a short nap and more sleep than that makes us lazy.
