There are two kinds of angers - old and new. I shall focus on new angers in this post, new angers are new situations, people or things that make you angry.
Usually new angers don't lead to dangerous crimes or violent behavior because it's a new anger.
The best way to deal with any kind of anger is to let it out as it happens. Sometimes letting it out is the best thing to do.
If you are unable to let our your anger easily then other methods such as meditation, recreational activities, playing sports, counseling, talking with friends, etc. can help.
