Save Some Cash

The monthly habit of saving money is a wonderful one to have in your home. Even if you keep aside a little amount each month, you will end up with lots of money in 10 years time.

It is wise to keep your money safe in a fixed deposit with your favorite bank. The power of Compound Interest has turned many middle class people into Millionaires after 20 to 25 years of constant saving and collecting the interest on those savings each year.

The important lesson to learn here is to Save. Even if you save Rs.3000 a month, get into the habit of putting some dough away for the future. You won't regret it!

Sir, as Kalpana said, I also have no habit of saving. I wanted to save, but I was not able to, and I blindly believe God will help me at the time of need. Of course, it sounds foolish. Although now I like to have some savings with me, hence doing it, but just a meager amount.

It is always a good practice to store aside some grains periodically for those rainy days.

Saving is a very good habit. This has to be developed right from childhood. The children should be given a piggy bank box, to collect coins and notes, whenever, they get money for birthdays or festivals as cash gifts.
Once the box gets full, convert it into Notes and give them some incentive like adding little more money and then open a bank account in their name.
This will motivate them to add more money and not to spend. Even, adults should plan to save money when they are bachelors. Because once they are married, they will get a lot of family commitments. Young people can save money and make it a back up before they start a family life.

Married people can plan to get housing loans and start paying for the housing loans. This will be like an indirect way of saving money. Same time, they can save the recurring expenses of paying rent. The rent amount can be used to pay EMI for the housing.. House is one of the important requirement for any family these days. This can be done only through disciplined mind of saving.

Saving ever month is good habit, in olden days my grand mother would never have the shortage of small amount as she would hide, and save from the money given for monthly expenses, and same habit has been with us, although its open but still some amount goes as saving for any emergency. keeping at bank would multiply, but petty cash at home would help during emergency.

Saving habit needs to be developed early in childhood. Such habits developed early stay a lifetime. The habit of regular savings out of monthly income can never be understated. Its immense power too can never be underestimated. Instead of dreaming about lottery wins, regular savings is the only guaranteed means of becoming millionaires.

The one good thing I did not practise was saving money for the future. I started doing it only after my marriage, thanks to my wife, who taught me good financing.
Now I do have the habit of saving a little for the future. It helped me a lot at the time of my daughter's marriage last year. Thank God that I didn't have to borrow money from anyone.
