Work In Short Bursts
Work in short bursts of 15 minutes followed by a little break of 5 minutes. Then we take a much longer break after completing 4 bursts of hard work.
Give this method a shot and you will soon find that you are able to rest a lot more than you currently do without compromising on the amount of work that you do. Actually, you might end up becoming a lot more effective at your work than you are right now.
By the way, I follow what I preach in this post. I work less than 6 hours on each working day. The rest of the time I spend relaxing and enjoying with the ones I love. Work less, rest more, and you will suddenly see what a wonderful life you've been missing before this.
