Why Daily Meditation Is So Important
It's been just a few days since I wrote the post "The Beauty Of A Clear Mind" and it has already become the most read post on Osovo this week.

It's terrific that readers are appreciating the information shared on Osovo and using the content to enhance the quality of their daily lives.

Things are looking great. However, I am not one to rest on my past laurels and achievements. Today is a new day. And I am restarting the messenger in me once again.

Being firmly grounded in the "now" and present moment has certainly helped me stay focused on just the day in front of me and not much else.

It's pointless to reflect a lot on yesterday or worry too much about tomorrow. For me, even more than 10 minutes spent on either of the above is a waste of my time.

Daydreaming is a habit I've talked about and encouraged quite a bit in some posts. However, the purpose of daydreaming is to help you relax and unwind. Living a more comfortable life is more important than life itself.

Comfort can come in a variety of packages. Resting, laying down, sleeping, recreational activities, a laid back lifestyle, and other similar things will normally come to mind when one talks about a comfortable life.

There is an important activity that is normally excluded from this list and I'd like to mention it in here before it skips our minds altogether....

Meditation is one of the most comfortable things to do in one's daily life. Spending one's free time or leisurely hours in meditation can work wonders for us.

We get more comfortable, feel more relaxed and have a wonderfully soothing mood through the rest of the day.

I would recommend that you meditate for at least an hour a day to begin with. However, if this sounds like too much time for you then start off with investing around 10 to 15 minutes in meditation and then build it up slowly once you understand how wonderful doing this daily can be.

Some of you might already be meditating regularly and few of you might consider yourself experts on the subject. But for those that still haven't tried daydreaming or light meditation during the daytime then right now is possibly the best time to start off.

Some of you will disagree with what I share in this post. However, it would be nice if you could tell me why you disagree so I can benefit from your "obvious" wisdom in this particular arena.

Being a relaxed person living a comfortable life every single day has huge benefits. I know a few of my closest friends and family members who have benefited thanks mainly due to their hours spent on meditating each day.

There have been a few who were very hot tempered by nature. I was one of them. There were times when I would easily lose my cool over something trivial. My intensive studies on Anger Management helped me learn a lot about this emotion.

Over the years, I've not only managed my temper more beautifully but I've also helped countless others who were in the same boat as me.

And meditation is the best remedy for those who are prone to anger, stress, frustration, tension, anxiety, worry, hatred, jealousy, and other similar emotional issues or outbreaks.

So if you feel stressed out, worried, or angry about something right now then "now" would be a great time to consider meditating in silence and solitude.

Ensure that you have a comfortable place in your home where you can meditate easily whenever you want to. You can meditate just by closing your eyes, deep breathing, and sitting on your sofa or just by daydreaming while sleeping on your bed.

A clear mind awaits all those who meditate earnestly every single day. Do take the time to relax and live a comfortable life since living it any other way is not the right thing to do.
