Everyone has heard about the Wimbledon Tennis Championship. However few people outside England know much about the beautiful town of South Wimbledon.

South Wimbledon is an area situated in southwest of London and is one of the popular places of England.

The name of this area was derived from Wimbledon, a district in southwest London and is bordered by Wimbledon to the north and Morden to the south.

There are many things to do in South Wimbledon which has lots of attractions near the famous South Wimbledon tube station which was opened in the year 1926.

The Polka theater along with the teddy bear museum is worth a stopover as it is an ideal place for kids with a large collection of teddy bears along with entertaining plays at the theater for fun filled experience.

At the Deen City Farm, South Wimbledon, one can see and learn all about different farm animals such as geese, ducks, goats, horses etc. and can even enjoy horse and pony rides (for kids below 8) for an entertaining and interesting experience.

The Morden hall park owned by the National trust is spread over more than 120 acres of land along with a beautiful rose garden and is a great place to spend a day for a relaxing feel.
