Random Musings On The Seasons

Random Musings On The Seasons
It's amazing to see the sudden burst of energy in people these days.

Seems like the spirit of the festive season has really caught on in the city. Everyone is out walking, jogging and totally into becoming fit and healthy.

This is a great thing.

The last cup of fine Darjeeling Tea is in my hand right now as I type this one out.

Had 7 cups today, my favorite drink certainly, yummy and healthy in a rather different way from the ones mentioned in the first paragraph of this post.

It's just 15 days away from the best season of the year (for me anyway).

The chilly nights are about to come in early again.

Weather predictions made by top weather stations say that the Winter could hit Mumbai in less than 10 days.

Fat chance of this happening. But you never know.

Last year, Winter came in late November and the rains came lashing down around the 18th of May this year.

And it was one of the best rainy seasons I witnessed in over a decade.

Thoroughly enjoyed the rains last year and praying that next year shall be no different.

Last Winter was a busy season.

This time round, I should have more time on my hands, and can really go around town and to hill stations close to the city for a few days at a time.

My family is happy to know that the Winter is expected early this year and my wife has already begun planning our first trip to Khandala (expected to be sometime later this month).

It's fantastic to be relaxing indoors for most of this year.

My idea of a great life is just lazing around, spending time with family, socializing once or twice a week with close friends, reading and writing posts like these, and doing some other important work with the remaining time left over.

I don't know where you live but if you are from America or Canada then I am certain that you must be pleased that Winter is just another month or two away for you.

It was a horrid Winter for you guys last year, long and awfully cold, and the Summer must have been a celebration for all of you.

Anyway, I'm off for a while, it's already pretty late tonight.

Had a great dinner at home, relatives had come over, relished a large dinner of steamed veggies, roast chicken and mashed potatoes.

The chilled and fresh Sweet Lime Juice was the best thing.

Had two glasses and drank another half from my wife's glass when she wasn't looking.

Tomorrow is expected to be just as good as today but won't dig too much into it right now.

I thank you for reading all these posts even the ones (like this one) that don't really help you that much but just connect with you in some way.

It's awesome to have thousands of readers come in to spend time on these pages of Osovo every month.

Have a great week ahead!
